How the Content Convention masters the challenges of ticketing and guest management and significantly speeds up the check-in process.
The Challenge
The Content Convention was faced with the challenge of optimizing its ticketing system in order to have more control over sales and invoicing. The ticketing system needed to reduce manual work and be integrated into an existing event management system. In addition, a potential simultaneous arrival of hundreds of guests at check-in had to be managed. Long queues and a manual, error-prone ticketing system led to dissatisfaction among attendees.

Thanks to Sweap, the Content Convention was able to optimize its event management processes, from guest communication to smooth check-in on the day of the event. The use of Sweap simplified the planning and implementation of the convention and increased ticket sales at the same time. The adaptability in the creation of ticket categories enabled a target group-specific approach and increased flexibility for participants.

The Content Convention optimized the use of Sweap by adding the event ticketing function, which enabled a direct link between their own event website and ticket sales. This step offered attendees seamless event registration and direct integration into Sweap's guest management: a guest profile was automatically created with every ticket sold, making administration and communication much easier.
Three ticket categories were defined in advance - discounted, early bird and standard - which were configured via Sweap's user-friendly interface. This differentiation made it possible to address different target groups in a targeted manner.
After purchasing, participants automatically received a confirmation email generated in Sweap, which contained a ticket with a QR code for quick check-in on the day of the event.
The organizers used Sweap's event check-in app to scan QR codes and accredit guests efficiently. This resulted in a smooth process without long waiting times, even with the potential simultaneous arrival of hundreds of guests. The direct link between ticket purchasing and guest management also facilitated real-time monitoring of attendance figures.
Sweap was therefore seamlessly integrated into the Content Convention's technical infrastructure to enable efficient event ticketing and guest management. Attendees benefited from a quick and easy check-in process thanks to automated ticket confirmations and QR codes.

Innovative lead generation

Content Convention has partnered with Sweap to introduce an innovative approach to lead generation for its exhibitors that has revolutionized networking and lead exchange at the event. Through the beta version of a new feature, Sweap enabled exhibitors to capture leads directly onsite by scanning QR codes on attendees' name badges. These leads were automatically transferred to exhibitors' respective Sweap accounts, allowing for seamless and efficient follow-up and contact after the event.
The implementation of Sweap was a direct response to our challenges with waiting times and complex, manual ticketing. This solution has not only minimised support calls, but has also significantly increased guest satisfaction.
